It seems the death of Moore’s law was not an accurate prediction at all, and has always been greatly exaggerated. People started to pronounce it deceased not long after Gordon Moore, co-founder of Intel, proclaimed that the number of transistors that can be etched on a given surface area of silicon would double second year. Moore’s law continued to defy the odds on par with driving the digital revolution. Against the grain, it seems the law itself is not quite dead yet…
