Reuters reports on the jumbo jet, which for many years have been known as the workhorse of modern air travel, could now be close to ‘running out of runway’. Due to a slump in sales of the jets, questions are being raised over how long manufacturers will be able to sustain production. It has also fueled internal debate over the future of the planes, putting the jumbo jet right in the middle of a make-or-break situation.
