East or Famine

The balance of economic power is shifting away from America and Europe to Asia, but this eastward movement is not new. Asia rebounded from the recession much faster than the developed world – it even overtook Germany as the biggest exporter in the world. And, is the front runner for technology and production of motor vehicles. Looking back at history we shouldn’t be surprised that, once again Asia are beginning to flex their financial muscle. But just how far has power really tilted towards Asia?
