Davos Man and his defects

The Economist looks at the significance of two of the most popular words in the business lexicon:  Global and leadership. When you put these two words together, it has great potential to draw multitudes of people together. One such conflagration happened recently at Davos, a Swiss ski resort, where some 50 heads of state and 300 cabinet ministers came together to discuss the term ā€œglobal leadershipā€. According to the Economist, the global leadership industry needs re-engineering, right on par with the cult of the global leader – undoubtedly spreading.
