Gambling: Shuffle Up and Deal

The internet changed a lot of industries but none more so than the business of gambling. Anyone who wants to gamble, now has the opportunity to do so, if they have an internet connection. The increase in online gambling has threatened some traditional forms such as betting on horses, but appears to benefit others. This radical change has resulted in policy change around the world. Government prohibition has worked about as well as prohibition of other online content. America still remains the world’s biggest online market by far, despite the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act (UIGEA) passed in 2006.
