Óli is an energetic, determined, and innovating driver of Operational Excellence and Asset Management initiatives, and a specialist in turning around manufacturing and utility operations. Leading to increasing uptime, lowering overall manufacturing costs, and thereby working to make his clients become more profitable and competitive.
An integrator of Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Procurement firmly rooted in lean leadership, he bridges the gap between boardroom decision making and production floor results.
In addition to sitting on the Advisory Board of the Operational Excellence Society, he serves on the Asset Management Working Group of the International Trade Council, the International Standard Organization’s Technical Committee 108 for Condition Monitoring for ANSI, the German Technical Advisory Group for the Asset Management Standard ISO 55000 at DIN, as well as the US Technical Advisory Group for the same at ASME.
Óli has published a book on Condition Monitoring Standard for a selection of common equipment problems, and has spoken and chaired conferences in North America, Europe, Middle-East and Asia. He is a contributor to Magazine’s and Industry Publications on a routine basis.
He is born in Iceland and currently resides in Germany, after stops in Denmark and the United States.
